MANAGER – MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS: (Ref.#MRKTG/12-13/M&PR)
Summary | The Marketing Manager & PR is responsible for assisting in a variety of marketing activities to support revenue goals across a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and services. The Marketing Manager will work closely with other members of the marketing team in order to support all marketing and communications activities. The Manager, Marketing & PR is responsible for the management of advertising, creative services and communication tactics for all marketing initiatives within the required timelines as directed by the President. The individual is responsible for planning, budgeting, creative development, implementation and results monitoring of all marketing plans and promotional activities. This position researches, proposes, negotiates and monitors new and/or revised systems of advertising and communication plans to assure compliance with the university’s goals, marketing/sales strategies and approved budgets. In addition, this position is also responsible for production management of marketing and communication material for marketing initiatives. |
Qualification | • Degree from any accredited university. • Candidate should be Bi lingual. • Good interpersonal communication skills. • Able to work in diverse cultural backgrounds. • Creative and resourceful – must be able to provide divergent approaches to marketing plans. • Excellent planning, organizational, analytical and leadership skills. |
Experience | Hands on experience in the related area within the Education Industry in UAE |
Skills Required | • Prepare and execute the marketing plan for the University. • Oversee the maintenance of University website while ensuring the accuracy and authenticity of the web contents. • Coordinate the production of University publications such as the catalog, handbooks,reports, information brochures, promotional and advertising material in coordination with colleges, Departments, and units. • Write news items and feature stories for distribution through the print and electronic media. • Build and manage positive media relations and develop networks with media outlets of UAE. • Supervise personnel working in the Marketing and Media Relations Unit. • Prepare reports as needed to the Board of Governors. • Serve on standing and ad hoc committees as required. • Perform other duties as assigned by the President. |
